Between the Rideau River and the Canal, Old Ottawa South has older wood-frame and brick homes, mature trees and plenty of wildlife. Bats roost in the attics and wall voids of older houses near the river.
Bat work here is booked for late summer and early fall, after the pups can fly. Raccoon and squirrel work goes ahead year-round once young are accounted for.
One-way door on the entry hole, heavy-gauge screening on vents and roof edges, and a check for kits before anything is sealed.
